I am 72 years old male with type 2 diabetes. I had cataract operations performs in both eyes going back sometime. Lately I feel blurring in my left eye after food intake and gradually the vision improves. I am taking insulin and thought to increase a few units and that helped a lot. I do have outpatient appointment with the hospital, the one of the best we have in UK tomorrow and hope they might have to give me laser treatment again. Possibly there seems to be a leak which is of course a normal reaction of a protein in the blood which causes vessels behind the eye to bleed. Hopefully it will be treated. Discussing problem with others does give more information about their experiences. Sometimes its helpful to speak out.
