Hi guys, I am a PhD student at the University of Melbourne, Australia. I am currently working on a project looking at understanding how people develop their trust toward others in online health communities and how trust may affect trust-related behavioural intentions. The findings of this study will help online forum providers develop more effective and efficient interface that allows users to locate trustworthy and relevant information in a simpler and faster manner. This in turn will help users build and enhance the bond between others with the similar condition, break out the social isolation, and thus enrich the online health community with more experiential knowledge. I am looking for voluntary participants for a 45 minutes phone interview and the participation is confidential. This research study has been approved by the University of Melbourne Human Research Ethics Committee (# 1034233.1). If you are interested in participating or need more information, please feel free to contact me at h.fan@pgrad.unimelb.edu.au or +61 4 3145 6708, or visit http://disweb.dis.unimelb.edu.au/student/RHD/hanmeif/recruitingAd.html. I would love to answer any questions regarding the study. Thank you very much! Warm regards, Hanmei Fan PhD candidate Department of Information Systems University of Melbourne
