Found catheterisation a nuisance because she had to learn to attend to it each morning but she got used to it and it was taken out eventually.
She had a stroke due to a clot at the age of 88. The stroke caused weakness and cold sensitivity in her left hand and problems with eating and drinking. Medication: Antibiotics.

His catheter sometimes leaks overnight. He worried that the carers in the home would get fed up but they reassured him it was part of their job.
He had a stroke during a heart bypass aged 74 which caused right weakness & speech, memory & emotional problems. Medication: perindropril, furosemide (blood pressure) simvastatin (cholesterol), aspirin, dipyridamole (antiplatelet), dosulepin (depression).
