She had a stroke attributed to a clot and the age of 92 which caused weakness of her right leg and arm and slurred speech. Medication: bendrofluazide (blood pressure) now stopped, aspirin (anti-platelet), but she could not tolerate this and had to stop.
She had a stroke due to a clot aged 82 which caused left weakness. Medication bendroflumethiazide, ramapril (blood pressure), aspirin (antiplatelet).

Jackie suffered a stroke in 2003 while home alone and was found by her daughter 28 hours later. She voluntarily chose to retire from work so she would have enough stamina for other things including recreational activities in the community.
Susan experienced a stroke in 2007 while at home with her husband. Her husband called for an ambulance, which unfortunately, did not arrive until much later.
