Explains that a MRI scan was scarier than the CT but music was playing and there was a mirror. She prayed to pass the time.
She had multiple TIAs from the age of 65 and eventually had carotid endarterectomy age 67. Medication: perindopril (blood pressure), simvastatin (cholesterol), aspirin (antiplatelet), clopidpgrel (antiplatelet).

The hospital initially diagnosed migraine but later her husband saw a poster on stroke and insisted on more tests which revealed a stroke.
She had a stroke at the age of 30 due to a clot which possibly originated from a hole in her heart. The stroke could also have been caused by smoking. Her stroke caused visual memory and visual field defects. Medication: simvastatin (cholesterol), aspirin (anticoagulation).
