Diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer in 1995, which was treated with regular chemotherapy, at least every nine months. In 2003 developed metastases in the spine.

Diagnosed with end stage Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in 1986. Also has early heart failure and severe osteoporosis, and is treated with medication, a nebuliser and oxygen.

Breast cancer diagnosed in 1985 followed by lumpectomy and then mastectomy. In 1987 cancer was diagnosed in other breast, followed by lumpectomy. In 2002 metastases were found in liver, lungs and bones.

Diagnosed with bladder cancer and prostate cancer in 2001, followed by transurethral resections in 2001 and 2002, and then a prostatectomy and cystectomy (removal of bladder) and urostomy in 2002.

Diagnosed with cancer of the kidney in 2001, with metastases in the lung and bone. Treated with surgery, Interferon, and radiotherapy (to bone), and also complementary therapy.
