I feel that there needs now, unfortunately, to be a society to help mums whose children have been murdered by the husband/partner. I have searched on-line and have not managed to find anything like this. Murder by any means is a very difficult situation to survive and each "variety" (poor choice of word - sorry) of murder comes with it's own very different set of emotional nightmares. Does anyone know of a group like this?

Thanks Kaz Have been through SAMM, but this is quite a general group. Was looking for a specialized charity. Thanks for replying though.

I wonder whether SAMM can help you. This organisation help people where they have lost someone due to murder or manslaughter. If you put in a search for them you can view their site. Also, when your husband was sentenced did you get the offer of a contact from the victim liaison service which is provided by the probation service? The witness care officer should have asked if you want contact. If not you could try contacting your police family liaison officer or the witness care officer or you could contact your local probation office and ask to speak to a victim liaison officer as you have not had any contact and would like contact. The Victim liaison officer can give you information about support available and can when you are ready offer other services. I can not grasp how this horrible experrience has been for you and I am sure that the people I have mentioned will listen to you and assist where they can. Hope this helps. Warmest regards Kaz300

Hi everyone I see a lot of people have viewed this thread, but no-one has posted any response. Is there a group or should I start one? I could use help and don't think that I am the only one. It has been 2 1/2 years for me down this hellish path.

I have asked as I, myself, am a mother of two murdered children by my husband. If anyone knows I would be most grateful. ty
