Hello. My father committed suicide 5 months ago by running towards a high speed train. I am utterly devastated and so worried for my mother. They had been married for 40 years and have 3 daughters including myself. Its such a shock and I really dont know if I can take this in. It was not something he had tried before. I really could do with hearing from people with experience of losing their loved ones to suicide. It seems very difficult for those who havent to talk about and sometimes I feel so isolated especially at work. Hope to hear from somebody. helen.

Hello, my mum died October last year I found her hanging at the top of the stairs, Things don't seem to be getting any better in fact at the moment it seems worse. My Mum and Dad split up two months before she died. I just feel so alone, I am an only child and although I can talk to friends I miss having a brother or sister to talk to and remember mum with. I am married with 3 children my husbands mum also took her own life when he was younger, but I feel as though I can't talk to him because it reopens old wounds, I keep pushing him away. My Dad has moved on and got a new partner so why am I unable to do so. Kim
