Re:Welcome to the Healthtalkonline Forum on Prostate Cancer.
I have been having PSA tests now for the last 5+ years I have also had 4 lots of biopsy with negative results but my PSA test always show between 12 and 24, my consultant has said that I might be one of those who always has a high PSA reading, I am 64 years old and my brother had prostate cancer plus bowl cancer I have another brother that has has his prostate scrapped as it was enlarged and I have another brother who has a low PSA reading but has had 3 boipsy and now they said they may have found some abnormal cells so just where does that put me with such high PSA reading all the time, I have a PSA check avery 6 months and see the consultant at the same time but he never seems worried about my PSA, it's been about 2 years since my last biopsy, so what do you think?.
