Diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas in 2001, followed by a laparotomy, a gastrojejunostomy and then chemotherapy. After having had some chemotherapy he decided to try an alternative therapy, apricot seeds.
Anthony’s wife, Martine, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003. She was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She had more chemotherapy in 2005 and 2008. A scan found that cancer had spread to her liver. Martine died peacefully in August 2008.
Theadora’s mother developed jaundice in 2004. After doctors diagnosed pancreatic cancer she had chemotherapy, which continued intermittently almost until she died in 2007. She found complementary therapies, such as reiki, helpful and changed her diet.
In 2007 Simon’s wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was aged 39. She started the TeloVac trial. The chemotherapy was effective but the vaccine was not. She had more chemotherapy and also complementary therapies. She died peacefully in 2009.
