Alison Chapple is a medical sociologist. She has worked at the University of Oxford since 2000 as a Senior Research Fellow and Research Lecturer. She and Julie Evans conducted the interviews and did the data analysis.

Julie Evans Is an experienced qualitative researcher who has worked on Healthtalkonline cancer studies since 2000. She and Alison conducted the interviews and did the analysis.
