Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosed in 1976 after she developed a lump on her neck. Chemotherapy put her into remission. Afterwards she contracted shingles and needed skin grafts and hair transplants because of severe scabbing on her scalp.

Mantle Cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosed in 2006 after having stomach cramps, which may or may not have been related. Having chemotherapy and may face an autologous stem cell transplant in the future.

She wished her mother would cry on hearing the news but instead she pretended to be strong for her, probably because that's what she felt was needed.
While pregnant she discovered swellings on her neck, which were not investigated. Following delivery an ear ache led to a diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2000, which was treated with chemotherapy.

Diagnosed with Mantle Cell non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2000 after a tonsillectomy. After initial chemotherapy locally, he was referred to London for high dose chemotherapy and stem cell transplant.
