Trying to choose a wig from an NHS catalogue was 'miserable' but she got on well at a wig maker's and bought several wigs that she liked wearing.
Diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease in 2002 after finding a lump on her neck. Chemotherapy damaged her lungs but also put her in remission. She has just completed chemotherapy and radiotherapy for a recurrence.

Diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2005 after experiencing breathlessness. Fluid removed from around her heart followed by chemotherapy injected in her spine as well as intravenously. In remission.

Diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2000 after finding a swelling in her chest. She had radiotherapy but a new lump appeared which was also treated with radiotherapy. Two further recurrences were treated with chemotherapy. In remission.
