If you have liver secondaries after colorectal cancer don't give up. This can be treated. My father was given the sorry we can't treat this, you have at least 10 tumours spread throughout your liver. After getting my father to have a second opinion through his GP he has had the operation in a specialist liver unit and has been cancer free for 5 years now. It is possible don't give up. Make sure you are refered to a specialist liver surgeon. This is not a pancreatic surgeon or an upper GI surgeon. You need to see someone who only does Liver surgery as they are the best surgeons to treat this type of cancer. My father is healthy, not on any drugs and is living life to the full. It is worth it and my mother is not a widow.
