She explains that the diarrhoea she suffered during external radiotherapy was worth it if it meant getting rid of the cancer.
Diagnosed with cervical cancer (Stage 1B) in 2000. Wertheim's hysterectomy. Both ovaries and some lymph nodes removed. External Radiotherapy (30 sessions), six weeks after her hysterectomy because cancer cells were found in one lymph node.
