Firstly I want to say what a great idea this site is. I was diagnosed with BC in 2008 at the age of 28 and felt like I have had to manage on my own. I dont feel like I had much support and help for a young person going through this. I still feel like I am lacking support and am now at the stage of having a breast reconstruction. i have been to my surgeon 3 times and left confused each time having no help to decide. I still can not decide and can not belive a big decision like this is left up entirley to me. I only ever got help when I was at the point where I really couldnt cope. Why should it be left until that point! I am now emailing and using facebook to try and find women who have had a recon that I can talk to about it to help me make my mind up. I started wrting a blog when I realised there wasnt much support for younger women. It has helped a lot of women. http://emily-livingwithbreastcancer.blogspot.com I will spread the word about this site and feature it on my blog. Emily
