There are many different conditions that affect the bones and joints. We have interviewed a wide range of people with personal experience of conditions of the bones and joints, so that you can share in their stories. Rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease that mainly affects the joints and tendons. We interviewed 46 people with rheumatoid arthritis (and 4 partners) about their experiences of this condition.

 

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis means 'porous bone'. With this disease bones lose density and become more fragile with a greater risk of fracturing. The loss of bone occurs 'silently' and progressively. Often there are no symptoms until the first fracture occurs. We interviewed 40 people with osteoporosis about their experiences of this condition.
